Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tax Accountant specialized in Nonprofits to contribute to our mission while utilising your expertise in nonprofit tax accounting. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our financial compliance and transparency, supporting our innovative research initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about nonprofits within the healthcare industry, especially if they’re have an interest to contribute to initiatives related to ME/CFS, Long COVID, and other Infection Associated Chronic Illnesses (IACI) — but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare and file required tax forms, including Form 990 for nonprofits.
• Budgeting and Financial Planning: Assist in developing and managing budgets, forecasting financial needs, and providing financial insights for decision-making.
• Fund Accounting: Support us with best practices in fund allocation integrating with our multidisciplinary funding model.
